Styld.me isn’t my most duct-tape-able idea. Actually, it’s one of the worst when you take away resolv.com, my circa 2000 idea for returning ownership of personal data back to its person, which Bill Gates is about to do. Anyway, I have a new extremely small duct-tapeesque idea as of 10 minutes ago that’s related to food and iPhone and location.
There’s a certain freedom designing purposefully for non-largescale-commercial endeavors that just didn’t make sense before the app model + iPhone’s critical mass entered the scene. Here’s to building the first of series of projects that generate small amounts of revenue but together add up to a decent amount of income and allow a comparatively large amount of free time to do the other things in my life that are important to me.
