Knowledge and the Wealth of Nations: A Story of Economic Discovery
I can’t remember who or where I got the suggestion to read this book but thank you. I’m already one chapter in and am loving it.
“…to make sense of the process of globalization at the end of the twentieth century, and to say something practical and new about how to encourage economic development in places where it had failed to occur.”
It’s asking all the right questions. All the questions I’ve been asking myself about the spread of knowledge and how to better categorize property and goods in a way that takes into account all the methods of dissemination that our markets now face.
Well, I haven’t even read the book yet so I should probably slow down here. Plus I’ve had several pints plus my damage done to a pitcher earlier tonight. Perhaps I’ll write a bit more once I’ve actually read the book and am sober.
