High Scalability: Tumblr Architecture - 15 Billion Page Views a Month and Harder to Scale than Twitter
I’ll be reading this several times over. Studying, in fact. I have to admit that I’ve complained about Tumblr availability in the past. Though I understood the challenges they faced in scaling this post is mind-blowing.
Just thinking back to all that tumblr downtime now. Is the internet generation the most collectively demanding in the history of humanity?
