metoffice.gov.uk: Very strong winds will affect northern Britain on Wednesday, including the populated Central Lowlands of Scotland. Gusts of 60 to 70 mph are expected, with 80 to 90 mph possible in exposed coastal areas of the west. The public should be aware that this could cause disruption to transport.

Edinburgh Castle today with sister who is in town for the holidays. Just booked train tickets for Stirling on Thursday. We’re going to see Stirling Castle, which I hear is better. I’ve been in Scotland since September and this will be my first time in Stirling and my first train trip since arriving as well.
